Mr. Roman is an entrepreneur/financier who has been involved in the resource industry over the past 30 years and has successfully identified, financed, developed, and brought into commercial production a number of mining and oil and gas projects. His past experience includes acting as a director and senior officer of Denison Mines Limited, Lawson Mardon Group, and Zemex Corporation. He also worked to modernize Canada's Armed Forces in 1984/85 as policy adviser to the minister of national defense. In addition, Mr. Roman spearheaded the privatization of two major petrochemical companies in Central Europe and was appointed Chairman of Novacke Chemicke Zavody, a.s., in 2002.

In recent years, Mr. Roman's focus has been to finance and develop emerging junior, publicly-listed companies, which include: Gold Eagle Mines Ltd., Exall Energy Corporation, Polar Star Mining Corporation, Silvermet Inc, Verena Minerals Corporation and Global Uranium Corp (a private Ontario corporation). Mr. Roman is currently Co-Chairman and Director of Gold Eagle Mines Ltd, Executive Chairman of Exall Energy, Polar Star and Verena and President & CEO of Silvermet and Global Uranium. Mr. Roman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Guelph, Ontario in the field of Geology and Geography. He's also a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum.



T. Douglas Willock, Director

T. Douglas Willock spent 21 years as an investment banker with leading international and domestic banks, the most recent of which were National Bank Financial's investment banking arm known as Levesque Beaubien Geoffrion Inc. and Deutsche Bank Securities Ltd. He spent five years with a Canadian junior exploration and development company for which Goldcorp Inc. announced a $1.5 billion tender offer on July 30, 2008. Since January 2007 Mr. Willock has devoted a majority of his time and effort to his role as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Polar. Mr. Willock also serves as a director of Olympus Pacific Minerals Inc. (TSX: OYM). Mr. Willock holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Ivey School of Business (1980), a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia (1976) and attended the Beijing Language Institute (1976-1977).



David G. Speck, Vice President, Corporate Development & Director

David G. Speck has been the President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of GDD since October 31, 2006. He was an independent investor relations officer for several companies listed on the TSX Venture from June 2005 to October 2006. Prior thereto, Mr. Speck was the managing partner of Granite Capital, a private financial services company, from August 2004 to June 2005, and of ONE Signature Financial from January to August 2004. From July 2002 to January 2004, Mr. Speck was the Managing Director and National Sales Manager of Research Capital Corporation. He has also been the Complex Sales Manager for Merrill Lynch Canada from June 1999 to July 2002.

Derek C. Rance, P. Eng., is a mining engineer by profession and was the President and Chief Operating Officer of the Iron Ore Company of Canada from 1989 to 1997 and the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Cape Breton Development Corporation (Devco) from 1984 to 1987. He is currently the Chairman and Senior Associate of Behre Dolbear & Company Ltd., a consulting company providing assistance to the mineral industry with due diligence, feasibility studies, optimizations, valuations and marketing studies, a position he has held since 1997. Mr. Rance received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1963.

Mr. Walker is a Professional Geologist based in La Serena, Chile who has been active in mineral exploration in Chile for the past 11 years. Mr. Walker's 38 years of experience spans four continents: Europe, North and South America and Africa and covers a wide range of commodities including: U, Cu, Pb, Zn, Mo, Au, Ag, Co, Cd, W, Sn, Ti, Mn, Diamonds, Kaolin and Cement feed stock. Terry earned his geology degree from the University of London and his Masters of Applied Mineral Exploration (M. Sc.) from McGill University in Montreal. Mr. Walker has extensive geological experience with both major and smaller mining operations and has covered all aspects from grass roots project generation to pre-development deposit definition, mine geology and economic evaluation.

Mr. Martinez has 25 years of experience working in Chile. He has done exploration to mine production, principally for Cordelco and Lac Minerals (El Indio).
